- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ By Chris Cleveland12/12/2017Travelled from Norwich and visited Hall Road chippy today - taking fish and chips to my elderly mother who lives close by. My alarm bells should have started ringing when the shop was empty and very cold (chip shops are normally very warm places in my experience), ordered Cod & Chips for 2 and a haddock and chips for mum. The fish prices were average, although the fish was much smaller than expected when I ordered large, I must say the fish was good - The chips were something else, the portion was tiny and they were defiantly re heated and only just edible, the chips were dry just horrible. Now I know why the place is not busy like lots of other fish and chip shops in the area. I will not be returning there again.
